This artwork was created to commemorate a special dedication service at my church. The words for the hymn were written by a member. My goal was to express visually what I experienced during the celebration. The background is a watercolor wash, with the lettering in gouache on 100% rag paper. The ALLELUIAS have three levels of painting, with the same words written in script in the background. Starbursts are in 23K gold and shell gold.
